Her Name is Brett
Meet the creative genius behind Madam Radical: born in the far reaches of New Liskeard, Ontario, in the 90's, she grew up crafting, dreaming, and soaking in all the 90s/Y2K vibes.
After moving to Chilliwack in 2020 with her now-husband (thanks to his new teaching gig), life took a twist when her remote marketing job lost funding. But instead of letting it get her down, she dived right in to her own brand, turning nostalgic dreams into an upcycling art biz that mixes practical nostalgia with quirky, bold designs. From bleach-dyed tees to VHS tape purses, she’s betting on herself—and totally winning!
Like it Matters...
I'm a big believe in the fact that education should be free and that the fancy piece of paper that you hold in your hands once and then never touch again, shouldn't make you more important than anybody else. BUT... I think this information makes my brand pillars make a lot more sense, so hear me out:
My fancy pieces of paper say that I have been technically trained to test soil, water, trees, and other environmental factors and create plans to sustain these resources and ultimately protect them. Basically, I care a lot about the environment and I spent a lot of time in a lab running tests.
Additionally, I have another fancy piece of paper that says I've been technically trained to build and manage brands, plan and execute events, create, schedule and implement full IMC (Integrated Marketing Communication) plans to reach specific goals laid out by the brand at hand.
The Result
Combining my love and training for the environment as well as brand management/marketing - I built a business that I can run by just being me and doing the things that I genuinely enjoy. And the best part? I get to do all of that while bringing smiles and laughs to YOU! Thank you for letting me live my dreams, and creating a space where it's safe and appreciated to do so.
